A charity has written to the Attorney General calling him to review the sentences given to the abusers of a 79-year-old woman in a North Somerset care home.

Gladys Wright suffered the abuse at The Granary in Wraxall. It was captured on a secret camera by her son.

Daniel Baynes was jailed for four months at Bristol Crown Court last Friday. Two other men - Tomasz Gidaszewski and Janusz Salnikow were given community orders.

Action on Elder Abuse say the sentences are too lenient and does not act as a deterrent.
