Cheltenham Borough Council has voted to apply for listed status for the graffiti, Spybooth, by Bristol urban artist Banksy. It will not cover the phone box at the centre of the installation.

Cheltenham's "Spy Booth" Banksy which has been attacked several times by vandals will be restored at a cost of £26,000.

It is estimated that the work will take six weeks and the freeholder of the building, Roger Wilson has agreed to cover the costs of the restoration in full.
