A plane has crashed on the Isles of Scilly while landing at the airport on St Mary's.**
**Cornwall Fire Brigade said the aircraft, with four people on board, was coming in to land when it overshot the runway and ended up in a nearby field.
St Mary's Airport fire and rescue, police and ambulance were all in attendance and the airport was closed while the area was made safe.
No one was injured in the incident and all four passengers exited the plane safely.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch of the Department for Transport is investigating.
