The Olympic flame returned to the Westcountry today (Thursday 12th July) making its way through Dorset. The torch passed up the famous Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, arriving at the Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy, which will host the Olympic sailing events in just over two weeks time. It's due to arrive in Weymouth shortly for an evening of celebrations.
Crowds have gathered all across the South West today to see the torch make its way through our region.
