A fire is continuing on board a container ship 200 miles off the Isles of Scilly.

Bad weather is now hampering the operation to put it out.

It broke out on the MSC Flaminia on the 14th of July, killing two crew members.

Most of the crew were taken to Falmouth.

The MSC Flaminia was 1,000 miles west of Cornwall when the blast happened.

It was mid-way between North America and the British Isles, sailing from Charleston in the US to Belgium.

Once the hotspots are dealt with, a decision will be made on moving the vessel to a coastal area.
