In meeting is taking place this today to discuss how to raise funds to repair a collapsed canal in Halberton in Devon.
A week ago, heavy rainfall caused a bank to collapse on the north side of the Grand Western Canal. A two mile stretch of water drained into a nearby field.
Now a fund has been set up in order to raise the £5 million it will cost to repair the damage.
Today's meeting is being hosted by the Canal Joint Advisory Committee, who say the point of the meeting is for everyone interested in saving the canal to come along and hear about thir plans.

It is not a crisis meeting, it is purely and simply a spotlight on the fact that now it has happened, we need to move forward and get it repaired so we have a canal that everybody loves functioning again.
