Plymouth Argyle extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a 2-1 win over Dagenham and Redbridge at Home Park.

Reuben Reid scored his fourth goal of the week with a solo effort to put the Pilgrims ahead just before half-time.

The visitors equalised a minute later after a slip by Maxime Blanchard, but Luke Young hit the winner with a 25-yard free-kick 13 minutes from time.

Torquay United remain second-from-bottom of the Football League after losing 2-1 at fellow strugglers Accrington.

The Gulls went ahead in the 14th minute with a 25-yard volley from West Ham loanee Paul McCallum.

But Kal Naismith turned the game on its head with two goals on either side of half-time.

Exeter City suffered their fifth straight defeat after losing at third-placed Rochdale.

The hosts went ahead shortly before half-time through Michael Rose's free-kick.

The Grecians equalised a minute into the second half when Alan Gow got on the end of John O'Flynn's cross.

But Rochdale secured the three points with goals from Graham Cummins and Andrew Tutte.
