The new Torquay United manager and former captain said today that he's not the magician David Blaine as he took charge at Plainmoor with the club in the relegation zone.

Chris Hargreaves, though, said he'll do the best he can to prevent the Gulls from falling into the Conference, and he'll be helped in the task by another former Torquay player, Lee Hodges, who'll be his assistant.

I'm not David Blaine, I haven't got a crystal ball and I'm not a miracle worker. All I'm going to do is give it my best shot and I think that's enough and it's going to be enough. The players have got to do that as well and we see where we're at at the end of the season. We go game by game, point by point and see where we're at at the end of the season.
