Yeovil Town went to Blackburn knowing that only a win would be good enough in their fight against relegation.

After Jason Lowe hit the post for Blackburn early on Yeovil held firm and had the better chances in the second half. The point leaves Yeovil rooted to the foot of the table with time running out and only three games left to play. They face Huddersfield at Huish Park on Monday and then finish the season against Brighton (away 25 Apr) and Middlesbrough (home 3 May).

Plymouth Argyle were beaten 4-0 at Bury. They never recovered after going behind after just eight minutes. Two goals in three minutes early in the second half from Daniel Nardiello put the game out of reach and Dany Rose rubbed it in with the fourth.

Exeter City's Matt Grimes scored after 18 minutes at Chesterfield, but even though the home side had a man sent off, they managed a second half equaliser scored by Owen Doyle from the penalty spot after Danny Butterfield was penalised for a foul.

And bottom club Torquay United were cast further adrift after losing at home to Dagenham & Redbridge. The only goal came midway through the second half from Dagenham's Medy Elito. That result leaves the Gulls eight points behind their nearest rivals, Northampton.
