Police crackdown on the roads of Plymouth

Dozens of police officers have spent the day targeting crime and anti-social behaviour in Plymouth.

As part of the crackdown in the West of the city, a number of houses have been raided and numerous drivers pulled over on suspicion of driving illegally. John Andrews reports.

It was a busy day for the police, as you can see below.

  • 70 vehicles stopped
  • 1 disqualified driver arrested
  • 10 people stopped for not wearing seat belts
  • £556 of Red Diesel seized in joint initiative with Customs and Excise
