Exeter's Rugby World Cup volunteers to be thanked by England players

Volunteers who worked at the Rugby World Cup Fanzone in Exeter have been invited to a reception at the Guildhall this evening to be thanked for their efforts.

Exeter Chiefs' three England players, Jack Nowell, Geoff Parling and Henry Slade, will all be there to meet the volunteers.

The event is being hosted by the Lord Mayor of Exeter as a way of saying thank you to the people who made the Fanzone special.

Exeter played host to three matches during the Rugby World Cup pool phase including Italy's victory over Romania in October.
