Hundreds of people joined a march in Dorchester to protest against possible cuts to maternity and paediatric services at the town's main hospital.

They also fear the 24 hour children's hospital could close - which has been described as a 'lifeline'.

It's the third march that campaigners have organised, to coincide with the ongoing review of services by Dorset's Clinical Commissioning Group.

Dorset's Clinical Commissioning Group says it still wants to hear everyone's concerns before it publishes its proposals:

Since the launch of the Clinical Services Review we have had several meetings with representatives of the Save SCBU and Kingfisher group to discuss the recommendations for local services and understand their concerns.

No decisions will be made until we have taken account of the views that will be collected during the public consultation.

During the consultation we want as many people as possible to have their say so are encouraging people to find out more via www.dorsetsvision.nhs.uk or to sign up for our email newsletter by joining our Health Involvement Network.
