Seals in Cornwall are celebrating Easter in style this weekend.
The Cornish Seal Sanctuary have been entertaining their residents with special Easter eggs made out of brightly coloured ice with fish inside them.
The animal care team at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary are always trying to think of new enrichment activities for their residents and Easter has provided the team with a perfect opportunity to get their residents joining in with some special activities.
The team at the Sanctuary crafted their residents special Easter eggs made out of brightly coloured ice with fish delicacies frozen in their centres. The eggs were placed in the residents enclosures for them to discover.
Not only does enrichment keep their animals happy and healthy, it can also provide important bonding time between the team and the animals, allowing the team to give them the best possible care.
