What a time to be a fan of the Exeter Chiefs! Not only are the team challenging for the premiership title, they're also celebrating the success of Jack Nowell who's been selected for the Lions tour of New Zealand.
He made his first appearance for the chiefs in 2012 - but previously starred for the Cornish Pirates junior squad.
Watch below the moment Jack Nowell found out he had the honour of being included in the British Lions squad. There was no early heads up from Head coach Warren Gatland - along with the rest of us, he found out when the official announcement was made.
Nowell played a pivotal role in England's Six Nations Triumph earlier this year - notably scoring two tries against Italy after coming off the bench when England were behind. It was a role he played throughout the tournament to great success. Perhaps that was the reason for his call up.
But it was back to Exeter Chiefs business for Jack today, training with the rest of the team ready for the last important games of the season. His coach, Rob Baxter, said his call up to the Lions was richly deserved.
The whole of the West Country will be willing on this fine home grown talent when he travels across the world in the summer to take on the best in the world.
