Crews spent Tuesday night battling a huge gorse fire in Cornwall. Smoke from St Agnes Beacon could be seen as far away as Newquay and Truro.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service had more than 50 calls after 100m of gorse went up in flames.
The blaze broke out just after 3pm on Tuesday and teams were still at the scene damping down on Wednesday lunchtime.
Tony Penrose, Fire Station Manager from Truro says the earth is tinder-dry at the moment, making fires like this more likely.
