Plymouth Argyle are hoping that a raft of new signings can help the club as they prepare for the season ahead.
The team plays Peterborough this Saturday as they try to kick off their return to League One with a positive result.
As well as gaining promotion last season, the Pilgrims also reached the third round of the FA Cup and forced a replay against Premier League giants Liverpool.
Plymouth will be boosted by the fact that number 10 Graham Carey has signed a new two-year contract.
Several other clubs including Sheffield United were linked with a move for the Irish midfielder.
Carey has been an important playmaker for Plymouth and was instrumental in helping the club to secure promotion.
He says that in the end it was a simple decision to stay.
Over the past 13 years Plymouth have spent 6 seasons in the Championship and 6 in League Two.
Fans will be hoping the players can use this experience to secure promotion.
As well as the football league veterans in the team, Argyle have made 8 new signings.
Oscar Threlkeld who signed for the club a year ago says he knows the pressure to have an impact and will do all he can to support the new arrivals.
More than 1,000 fans are expected to make the trip to London to watch Plymouth's first match of the season.
