Driver rescued after car gets wedged into a house

A car swerved off the road, veered down a steep front garden and hit a wall, becoming wedged into the side of a house in Dartmouth.

The driver of the car was freed from the wreck by crew members of Dartmouth Fire Station on the morning of Tuesday 22 August.

The woman did not need any medical treatment and no one else was injured.

Emergency services had to cordon off the area in Churchfields, to remove the vehicle and ensure everyone in the property was safe.
