Two people have been airlifted to hospital following a collision between two cars near Bude in Cornwall.
Emergency services were called the scene of the crash on the A39 at Marhamchurch at 2.05pm today, 30 August.
A child with a "potentially serious head injury" was airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital, while an elderly male driver in the second car was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by a second air ambulance.
A woman and a second child in the first car are believed to have been injured.
The A39 remains closed in both directions and diversions are in place. Officers say they are working to re-open the road as soon as possible.
