The body of a man has been found off the coast of Constantine Bay in Padstow. It's believed to be that of 30-year-old, Dr Robert Allen from Bristol who went missing on Monday 4 September.
He had been out on a fishing trip with his brother at Treyarnon Bay.
At the time of the search and rescue operation being launched, Dr Allen's brother, 21-year-old Charles Allen, was found in the water and airlifted to Royal Cornwall Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Coastguards decided to call off the search for Dr Allen on the Tuesday.
Officers were alerted by a member of the public and attended the scene along with HM Coastguard who retrieved the body.
The family of Robert Allen have been informed and formal identification will be carried out shortly.
The brothers were holidaying with family in Cornwall when the incident happened, and had been fishing many times before.
Anthony and Margaret Allen, parents of Charles and Robert, have paid tribute to the brothers.
