Bristol City face a true test of their play-off credentials tonight when they host Premier League Stoke City tonight in the third round of the EFL Cup.

The Robins have started strongly this season, with many heralding last weekend's 4-1 win over Derby County as one of the best ever performances under Head Coach Lee Johnson.

While it's still very early in the season, signs are promising.

The club sits eight in the Championship, with new signings already firing on all cylinders.

Forwards Jonathan Leko and Cauley Woodrow, on loan from West Brom and Fulham, have both made an impact.

Leko, 18, has drawn comparisons with Yannick Bolasie for his performances and has already represented England in the junior ranks. Meanwhile Woodrow sparked the comeback against Derby with his first goal of the season.

However Lee Johnson has been forced to make changes up front, with both Leko and Woodrow unable to play because they are cup-tied.

It means the depth of the squad will be tested as the fixtures begin to pile up.

Nevertheless, midfielder Marlon Pack says he's looking forward to the challenge of facing a top Premier League side.

You know you've got the likes of Joe Allen and Charlie Adam playing there.

Joe Allen's had a good Euro's with Wales. He's done really well as a Premiership footballer so you want to kind of test how you fare against them.

We all have a burning desire to be playing Premiership football. That's what everyone's dream is.
