Newquay Coastguard's helicopter crew has rescued two injured people from a ship off the Cornish coast after an explosion this afternoon.
The coastguard received a call from a dredging vessel around 1pm reporting they had had an explosion on board.
It is believed a compressed air cylinder exploded and two of the three people on board were injured in the blast.
A Royal Navy Fleet Auxiliary ship and a Fishery Protection vessel assisted with the rescue.
Both casualties were airlifted to Derriford Hospital with one casualty reported to be in a serious condition, although not thought to be life-threatening.
Fowey All Weather Lifeboat then towed the vessel into harbour.
