Passengers continue to face disruption during two-day SWR strike

As staff at South Western Railway take on strike action for 48 hours from today, passengers are facing delays of more than 30 minutes as they await train services.

The 48-hour strike action extends to workers at Southern and Greater Anglia. Staff on Merseyrail and Northern have walked out for 24 hours.

The strike is in dispute over the introduction of driver-only operated trains, also known as driver-controlled operated trains.
