It's become a well-known Christmas spot in one part of Bristol - a house which is transformed into a winter wonderland every year.

For nearly two decades the Brailsford brothers have spent weeks covering their mother's house in a Brentry cul-de-sac with more than a hundred thousand lights.

This year the display is even bigger and brighter than ever.

It started one Boxing day back in 1994 when I just went up to a local DIY store, bought the first Christmas light half price as most people probably do and really it just went from there. Never in our wildest dreams did we think it was going to take on this sort of magnitude of what kind of lights we've got."

The display, which features 100,000 bulbs, raises thousands of pounds each year for Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal, benefiting sick children being cared for at the Bristol Children's Hospital.
