Funeral for 7-year-old killed while playing in Cornwall snow to take place

The funeral of a young girl who was killed whilst out playing in the snow in Cornwall will be held later.

Maisie Duncan, 7, from Looe died on March 1 during Storm Emma when a driver lost control of his car and hit her and a bungalow on Bodrigan Road.

She has been described by her family as "the most beautiful, caring, kind, smart, perfect little thing and she will never ever be forgotten."

The people of Looe will gather at St Martin's Church at 1 o'clock today to pay their final respects.

Her family have asked anyone attending to wear pink, which was Maisie's favourite colour.
