Dairy cows get first taste of Spring after bad weather keeps them indoors

Sorry, this content isn't available on your device.

Dairy farmers across Gloucestershire and Somerset have been able to let their livestock outside for the first time this year.

One herd in Elmore always spend the winter indoors but they've been shut in for about a month longer because of all the bad weather.

As the cows kick up their heels and butt their heads together, farmers can see how happy it's making them.

Farmers say they believe happy cows make better quality milk.
