Plymouth Argyle Chairman James Brent steps down

After seven years of being Chairman of Plymouth Argyle James Brent is stepping down.

Mr Brent has sold his thirty-percent shares to the Vice Chairman Simon Hallett.

Simon Hallett is now the majority owner of the club Credit: ITV West Country

Mr Hallett has invested an additional £3.25m into the club to cover the grandstand redevelopment costs and buying the Higher Home Park site.

Brent will step down on October 31st when David Felwick takes over.

It has been an incredible privilege to lead Argyle's board as custodians of our club over the last 7 years. It’s now time for the next exciting chapter to begin.
