Around 300 campaigners marched through Weston-super-Mare today (Saturday 4 November), in protest at the continued closure of the town's Accident & Emergency department between 10pm and 8am.
Today is five months to the day since the closure came into effect, after the health watchdog, the Care Quality Commission, found the emergency department at Weston General Hospital was dangerously short of doctors.

Primary school children in Year Four will now be offered flu vaccination, Public Heath England have announced.
This will mean 170,000 more children may take the jab in prevention of contracting the flu virus this winter.
In 2016, in the South West, an estimated 50% of children aged between two and eight years old were not given the vaccination.
