Torquay came from behind to beat Port Vale 2-1 at Plainmoor. John McCombe had given Vale a first half lead. But two goals in three second half minutes changed the game. First, Rene Howe scored from the spot after he was brought down in the area by Joe Davis. Then, Ryan Jarvis headed the winner.

Yeovil suffered a shock 1-0 home defeat to Hartlepool this afternoon. Ryan Noble's 64th minute volley was the difference between the two sides. It's Yeovil's first home defeat under Gary Johnson. The Glovers drop two places to sixteenth in the table, seven points above the relegation zone.
