Devon & Cornwall's Fire & Rescue Service's de-commissioned fire hoses are about to have a very useful second life - at Paignton Zoo.

They'll be used in dozens of different ways to make life more interesting for some of the animals, as part of the zoo's environmental enrichment programme.

Paignton Zoo will recieve de-comissioned fire hoses as part of a donation from the Devon & somerset fire & rescue service. The hoses will be made into hammocks and feeding balls for the animals. It's part of the zoos enrichment programme.
