Duncan Sleightholme reports on the forty foot high waves that smashed over the beach destroying many of the timber beach huts lining the seafront in Seaton in East Devon
Today their owners came to salvage what was left.
Strong winds and stormy seas have damaged and destroyed a row of beach huts at Seaton in East Devon. Around half of the fifty huts have been damaged or destroyed. Owners have been salvaging their possessions while council staff dismantle the most badly damaged.
