The coach of Plymouth diver Tonia Couch has given his thoughts following a failed appeal to be included in the individual ten metre diving event, even though she has already been selected for the synchronised event.
Head coach of Plymouth diving Andy Banks, says her performances have been better than anyone else's:
Tonia Couch has lost her appeal against the decision not to pick her for the 10m individual diving at London 2012.
The 23-year-old will still dive in the 10m synchro pairs with Sarah Barrow, but Monique Gladding will join Stacie Powell in the individual event.
Coach Andy Banks says it is unlikely there will be a further appeal.
