Demolition of the former Falmouth Beach Hotel gets underway tomorrow.
The building was badly damaged by fire in April. Demolition experts have been assessing the site today. Local residents also met with staff to discuss plans for a new hotel in its place.
The meeting was to gather ideas on what the community would like to see. Local resident Gordon Kent said any new designs should add to the beauty of Falmouth:
A public forum is being held this morning for anyone to have their say on the rebuild of the fire-ravaged Falmouth Beach Hotel.
A full-scale demolition is now being carried out after the whole site was deemed too badly damaged to save. It'll take around six weeks to complete.
The 120 bedroom hotel was gutted by fire in April.
The meeting is being held at the Green Lawns Hotel at 10am.
