Helen Glover's Victory Parade

Thousands of people have turned out to see Olympic gold medal winning rower Helen Glover take a victory bus tour through her hometown of Penzance.

Helen and her rowing partner Heather Stanning took the gold in the women's pairs final at the London 2012 games.

Today she returned home to celebrate her win.

Helen Glover has been taking part in a victory bus tour through her home town of Penzance.

The ‘Victory Bus’ set off from Newlyn Quarry travelled past Helen’s parents’ Ice Cream shop and the Golden Post Box near the harbour.
