Brittany Ferries Dispute
Representatives from Brittany Ferries are meeting French union officials to try to resolve a dispute which has left 500 Plymouth-bound passengers stranded.
Stranded ferry passengers further delayed
Passengers finally making their way home after being stranded in France after industrial action prevented Brittany Ferries crossings between Plymouth and Roscoff will arrive in Plymouth around an hour late than scheduled - that's 10.30 pm.
The company says passengers expected for the return journey should still turn up at the normal time. People have been refunded their petrol to the port and complimentary cabins have been offered where possible. Those who've had to cancel their sailings altogether can get a full refund.
Stranded passengers on way back to Plymouth
Hundreds of travellers stranded in France due to industrial action at Brittany Ferries are tonight on their way back to Plymouth.
They had been due to leave Roscoff yesterday but the sailing - and this morning's return ferry - was cancelled in a row over changes to working patterns and staff benefits. The firm has agreed to hold a series of talks with the union.
