As Help for Heroes, the charity for injured service personnel passes its five year milestone, a Commando from Barnstaple talks about he was hurt - and helped. Corporal Ross Austin was wounded by a Taliban bomb in Afghanistan. He says having his leg amputated helped him.
The charity 'Help for Heroes' is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Since 2007, the charity has provided more than £120 million worth of support to injured service personnel and their families. A new dedicated recovery centre is planned for Plymouth and is set to open its doors next year.
