Falmouth and Penzance missed out on the top awards at last night's Urbanism Awards.
Both Cornish towns made it into the final three of an event organised by The Academy of Urbanism.
Falmouth lost out to Galway in Ireland for the Great Town Award. And the Great Street Award was won by Hope Street in Liverpool, pipping Chapel Street in Penzance to the title.
