A tall ship is moored up in Plymouth waiting for the weather to improve before setting sail for the Canary Islands. The Stavros S Niarchos is crewed mostly by inexperienced sailors wanting the adventure of a lifetime.
Once at sea, the charity that organises the voyages says people learn a lot about sailing but even more about themselves.
