They've rescued hundreds of people caught up in disasters across the world, from the earthquake in Haiti to the devastating boxing day tsunami of 2004. Staffed entirely by volunteers, Bath based charity SAR-AID provides search and rescue teams free of charge to any country in need of help.
And today they've been holding a major training exercise to make sure they're ready for the next emergency call.
The charity SARAID (Search And Rescue Assistance In Disasters) has been holding a training exercise for their volunteers at a disused hospital near Bristol.
Volunteers were shown how to rescue victims of collapsed buildings at the former Barrow Hospital.
SARAID have helped save hundreds of lives following disasters - most recenttly the Port Au Prince Earthquake in Haiti.
