Doctors are clear that every cigarette you smoke in pregnancy harms your unborn baby yet figures out today show that almost 15% of pregnant women in the region are smokers. That's the biggest rise for four years. Doctors say they need more help to quit. Tanya Mercer reports

The number of women in the south west smoking during pregnancy has gone up for the first time in years.
According to figures just released, almost 15 per cent of pregnant women smoke. That's the highest figure for 4 years.
Somerset has some of the highest figures in the country. The NHS Trust there says more needs to be done to help women give up.
