Glastonbury 2014 countdown

It's just two weeks until the Glastonbury Festival, when some of the biggest names in music from around the world will gather in Somerset. Metallica, Kasabian and Dolly Parton are among the acts which will perform over the weekend at Worthy Farm.

Sir Mick 'can't wait to play Glastonbury'

Sir Mick Jagger has said he can't wait to play Glastonbury after the Rolling Stones were confirmed as headliners for this summer's Festival. It'll be the first time the Stones have played at Worthy Farm in Somerset but Mick says he already has his wellies and his yurt.

Along with the Rolling Stones other headline acts include Mumford and Sons and the Arctic Monkeys. This year's Glastonbury is already a sell-out, with around 135,000 tickets going in the space of less than two hours.

The Rolling Stones were finally confirmed as headliners for this summer's Glastonbury Festival after months of rumours, with Mumford & Sons and Arctic Monkeys.
