Lee Johnson was victorious in the Johnson versus Johnson clash at Boundary Park.
Lee's Oldham Athletic side beat his father Gary's Yeovil Town team 1-0 after a goal by Matt Smith on the stroke of half-time.
Oldham's win sends Portsmouth and Hartlepool down to League Two and moves the Latics further away from the relegation zone.
Yeovil's defeat dents their hopes of winning automatic promotion, but they are still guaranteed a play-off place.
One club that's very much on the up right now is Yeovil. They're already in the League One play-offs and are pushing for automatic promotion.
Tonight the Glovers go to Oldham and it's a special and unusual occasion for manager Gary Johnson because he's coming up against his son, Lee, who manages the opposition.
Here's Matthias Kurth:
Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson comes up against his son Lee who manages Oldham tonight.
Both men are desperate for three points, with Yeovil fourth in league One and still in with a chance of winning automatic promotion, while Oldham are only one point above the relegation zone.
The majority of their football careers have been together, however. With Gary as manager and Lee as his player, they achieved two promotions in four seasons at Yeovil and another promotion, as well as a play-off final, at Bristol City.
Gary Johnson is now back at Huish Park for his second stint in charge and at 31, Lee became the youngest manager in the Football League when Oldham appointed him last month. We asked them both about having to face each other across the dugouts.
