FULL REPORT: Ten Tors Challenge

A team from a Bristol school was the first to return home in the Ten Tors Challenge to trek across Dartmoor in Devon.

It had been a tough weekend for the 2,500 young people who took part.

Mist and fog had added to the problems of wind, rain and cold.

Organiser: Ten Tors Challenge 'really tough' this year

Really tough conditions this year. When they set off yesterday morning, a lot of rain, very poor visibility. A number of teams got disorientated early on. The rivers have been quite full, we've had to have a lot of safety guidance along the river lines. But there's been some fantastic Samaritan work - teams helping other teams.
