A music concert planned for the beach at Weston-super-Mare this summer has been cancelled.
Summer Sets on the Beach was supposed to fill the gap left after T4 on the Beach ended.
It was hoped it would boost the resort's income from tourism by several million pounds. But after poor ticket sales, the event is off leaving local businesses worried about the season's trade.

A music festival planned for Weston-super-Mare beach has been cancelled. Summer Sets on the Beach was supposed to fill the gap left after T4 on the Beach ended. It was due to take place on 31 August and was to have been screened on ITV2.
Stars like Gabrielle Aplin and Professor Green had been lined up to perform. The organisers blame poor ticket sales. They've put this message on the event website:
Tickets go on sale today for the very first Summer Sets on the Beach concert in Weston-super-Mare.
Professor Green, Gabrielle Aplin and The Strypes are among the acts already confirmed as appearing on stage at the end of August.
It will be screened live on ITV2 and replaces T4 on the Beach, which has been held in the town since 2003.
