The last three women to be hanged for being witches in England may be pardoned more than 300 years after their deaths. An e-petition has been launched, and has won the backing of Exeter MP Ben Bradshaw.
The women, from Bideford in North Devon, may have simply been suffering from dementia. But not all historians agree that retrospective justice should happen.
