A new service flew in to Newquay today that managers hope signals a bright future for the airport. The Easyjet flight from London Southend is one of two new routes the airline is introducing to Cornwall this summer.
The airport says it's confident other new destinations will follow.
Today a new Easyjet service touched down at Newquay from London Southend Airport. A new route to Liverpool will also start next month. Here's a video of the arrival, which the airport hopes is the start of a long-lasting relationship with the airline.

However Exeter-based airline Flybe has said it plans to stop services from Newquay to Gatwick next March after selling the landing slots in London.
The first ever EasyJet flight into Newquay Airport is due at 0820 this morning.
It's coming from London Southend and will be flown in by Liskeard-born pilot Richard Andrews. EasyJet is hoping 20,000 people will use the service this summer.
Flight prices start at around £23 each way.
