FULL REPORT: Serco's out-of-hours service condemned

A Cornish MP is calling for the private company Serco to be stripped of its contract to provide out-of-hours medical services in the county. Andrew George was speaking as a committee of MPs severely criticised Serco for failing to meet standards, and lying about its performance.

The company insists things have now improved but has repaid a bonus of £85,000 - as what it calls a "gesture of goodwill".
