Police say they arrested a man on suspicion of assault, shortly after an alleged attack in a taxi office in Weston-super-Mare on June 16th.
The 24 year old has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Three men have had WD-40 sprayed in their faces.
Avon and Somerset Police say it happened when they were waiting for a taxi at a cab firm in Weston-super-Mare on June 16th between 3am and 4am.
It is alleged a woman produced a can of the lubricant and sprayed the three men in their faces.
The three victims fled outside and were assaulted by two other men, leaving one with a broken nose.
