Tonight's football fixtures

The Exeter City match kicks-off at 7.15pm, with the other two games starting at 7.45pm.

All three of Devon's teams are in action tonight in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Exeter City host Wycombe, with an earlier than normal kick-off time of 7.15pm.

Plymouth Argyle travel to Cheltenham. The two sides have already played each other in the league, with the Pilgrims winning 3-1 at the same ground two weeks ago.

And Torquay United entertain former FA Cup winners Portsmouth at Plainmoor.

Yeovil Town will be looking to put their controversial midweek cup tie behind them as they host former Premier League side Reading at Huish Park hoping to record their first home win of the season.

In League Two, Exeter City are at home to York. Plymouth Argyle are targeting a third successive victory as they take on Morecambe, while Torquay are at home, with Hartlepool making the long trip to Plainmoor.

Yeovil Town are hoping to get back to winning ways this afternoon after two successive defeats.

The Glovers host Derby County, boosted by two new loan signings. Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has finally signed from Wolves after an initial injury scare.

And striker Andy Williams is back at Huish Park after a season at Swindon Town.

In League Two, Exeter City travel to Morecambe, hoping for a second straight win.

Torquay United, still without a win, have a tough trip to Northampton.

And Plymouth Argyle will be looking to build on last week's excellent 3-1 win at Cheltenham Town. They host Rochdale at Home Park.

In today's football, Yeovil Town travel to Burnley in the Championship.

In League Two, Plymouth Argyle are still looking for their first points of the season as they travel to Cheltenham. Torquay United entertain Oxford United at Plainmoor.

It's Brazil Day at St James Park as Exeter City take on another supporter owned club AFC Wimbledon. If you're a Brazilian national you can actually get into the game for free if you show your passport.

Exeter will even drop the red and white stripes and will play in Brazil's famous yellow coloured shirts as they look forward to their trip to recreate Brazil's first ever international fixture next year.

Torquay United to play Portsmouth in JPT

Ties to be played in the first week of September.

Torquay United have been drawn at home to Portsmouth in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The fallen giants, who were FA Cup winners in 2008, now find themselves playing in League Two after several seasons of financial turmoil.

Exeter City also have a home tie against Wycombe Wanderers, while Plymouth Argyle will travel up the M5 to play Cheltenham Town.

The games will be played in the first week of September.
