David Cameron has returned early to Downing Street from his family holiday in Cornwall to prepare for a National Security Council meeting on Wednesday which will discuss possible UK involvement in using force against the Assad regime.
Polzeath on the North Cornwall coast is once again basking in the national spotlight as the chosen holiday destination of a certain David and Samantha Cameron.
The PM has made the area his chosen holiday resort - in the UK at least - for the past few years.
Seth Conway reports:
The Prime Minister is on holiday in Polzeath with his wife Samantha and young children for their traditional Cornish holiday.
David Cameron and his family are expected to start their holiday in Cornwall on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister's wife Samantha gave birth at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro during the family's Cornish holiday in 2010.
