A motorcyclist has been told he's narrowly escaped a jail sentence - after being caught speeding at 120 mph on the M5.
Robert Heaven from Berkeley passed an unmarked police car on the inside lane of the motorway.
The incident, and several more minutes of high speed driving, was filmed by the police car's camera.
David Woodland reports:
21-year-old motorcyclist Robert Heaven from Berkeley has been filmed by police speeding down the M5 motorway at 120mph.
Magistrates in Weston-super-Mare told Heaven they had considered jailing him, but because of his clean record they sentenced him to 250 hours community service and disqualified him from driving for 18 months.
